The group achieved mainstream success with their debut self-titled studio album The All-American Rejects, released in 2003 on the Dreamworks Records label. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA and spawned the single “Swing, Swing“.[5] The band’s second studio album Move Along brought the group further mainstream success in 2005, producing the hit singles, “Dirty Little Secret“, “Move Along” and “It Ends Tonight“, all of which charted in the top fifteen on the Billboard Hot 100 chart,[6] while Move Along was certified double platinum by the RIAA.[5] Their third studio album When the World Comes Down was released in 2008 and was later certified gold by the RIAA.[5] Its lead single “Gives You Hell” became The All-American Rejects’ most successful song to date, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the top 5 in many other countries.[6][7][8] “Gives You Hell” was certified 4× multi-platinum for sales of over 4 million in the United States by the RIAA.[9] Kids in the Street, the band’s fourth studio album, was released March 26, 2012 and debuted at number 18 on the US Billboard 200 chart. On October 30, 2015, the group released a new single named “There’s a Place“.
The All-American Rejects have sold over 10 million albums worldwide.[10][11] They were ranked No. 73 on the “Hot 100 Artists of the 2000s”[12] and No. 183 on the “Billboard 200 Artists of the Decade” list.[13]
The band has continued to tour, and released an EP in 2017. The band released their lead single “Sweat” on July 7, 2017.[14]
The Rejects released a 3-song EP on July 16, 2019 on their new label Epitaph entitled Send Her to Heaven.

In 1999, Sum 41 signed an international record deal with Island Records and released its first EP, Half Hour of Power, in 2000. The band released its debut album, All Killer No Filler, in 2001. The album achieved mainstream success with its first single, “Fat Lip“, which reached number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and remains the band’s most successful single to date.[2] The album’s next singles “In Too Deep” and “Motivation” also achieved commercial success. All Killer No Filler was certified Platinum in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.[3] In 2002, the band released Does This Look Infected?, which was also a commercial and critical success. The singles “The Hell Song” and “Still Waiting” both charted highly on the modern rock charts. The band released its next album, Chuck, in 2004, led by singles “We’re All to Blame” and “Pieces“. The album proved successful, peaking at number 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2007, the band released Underclass Hero, which was met with a mixed reception, but gained some commercial success, becoming the band’s highest charting album to date. It was also the band’s last album on Aquarius Records. The band released the album Screaming Bloody Murder, on Island Records in 2011 to a generally positive reception, though it fell short of its predecessors’ commercial success. The band’s sixth studio album, 13 Voices was released in 2016. IMPALA awarded the album with a double gold award for 150,000 sold copies across Europe.[4][5] The band’s seventh studio album Order in Decline was released on July 19, 2019.
The band often performs more than 300 times each year and holds long global tours, most of which last more than a year. The group have been nominated for seven Juno Awards and won twice – Group of the Year in 2002, and Rock Album of the Year for Chuck in 2005. Sum 41 was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for the song “Blood in My Eyes“.[6]
